How to Pit Olives
The pit pretty much squirts out. But this method’s an exercise in relativity: It would not work with a peach.

I like that "working out your aggressions" bit.

This is a great tip, but it won't work with tougher olives that tend to cling more tightly to the pit. For those, I make a slit lengthwise in one side of the olive before smashing with the knife as shown in the video. It is one extra step, but it really helps get all the flesh off those clingier olives.
