Read about the inner workings of this single-cup brewing machine, as well as about some more-attainable brewers that we would happily settle for.

  • I just had a $10 cup from a clover and it was quite possibly the best cup of coffee I have ever had.

  • Amazing i am so glad I went to the Roasterie for the best cup of coffee I have ever had. I am hooked now!!!!

  • Its a awesome machine and I am just glad they have one at the Roasterie here in KC. Makes a perfect cup of coffee every time.

  • Recycler, the roast typically used in the Clover is a medium roast that does have more caffeine than does a darker roast as you might enjoy for espresso. This would provide for more caffeine.

There's one here in Kansas City at The Roasterie Café and it's really amazing. It brings out flavors and characteristics in coffee that you only read about. There's on a sprinkle of Clovers and mostly at really hardcore coffee shops that are serious about their beans. If you guys can, I highly recommend getting a Cup of Excellence (a variety of top coffees from about a half dozen countries) or small batch origin (one country and small farm) on the Clover. Ask your barista, hopefully they'll be cool and guide you. Yummy!-COLLAPSE

  • Get an AeroPress, a home vacuum press for $30. Not quite as smooth as a Clover, but a reasonable substitute given the price.

  • Sadly, I want it badly.

  • Wow - an $11,000 coffee machine?! Why is it so expensive? I don't see some famous name attached to it...all it does is brew a cup of coffee one at a time.

  • We got one at a shop here in Toronto last summer, great brew... I figure it must get the most caffine out of the beans possible, nuclear !...my gf kept telling me to shut-up or quite dancing!...good times...
