• Entryway

Walk down a few steps from the sidewalk into a hot dog joint called Crif Dogs. Look for the phone booth against the wall to your left and press the buzzer. If there’s room for you, the back of the phone booth will swing open, and you and your guests will be invited through.

• Décor

A taxidermied deer, owl, and otter, and beneath the floorboards, a glass pane reveals a miniature landscape from a child’s train set—sans locomotive.

• Specialties

A smooth and tart Silver Lilly, concocted with Plymouth gin, Cointreau, fresh lemon juice, crème de violette, and an egg white. Or sample the El Puente, made with blanco tequila, grapefruit juice, bianco vermouth, St-Germain elderflower liqueur, and Los Danzantes mescal.

  • The entrance to THIS place looks so much like the entrance to "b-flat" in Tokyo, one of the most comfortable jazz clubs in the city.
