The most recent episode of Top Chef 3 may have been more about the “Icarus-like trajectory of chef Rocco DiSpirito” (at least according to Anthony Bourdain) than about poor little Joey Paulino. But while Joey may have declared the stretched-skin has-been a douche bag elsewhere, he takes the high road today, at least on that count. Not so for Hung, however.

  • Good grief Joey!! I think his estrogen is raging out of control. I have to admit... It was touching when he thanked his mom for having him.

    I do agree with his central point that its a show is a bit contrived. You expect it to be edited for dramatic effect, but producer vetoes and the silly challenges that are designed to pander to sponsors take away much of the credibility. And shame on past...+READ

You expect it to be edited for dramatic effect, but producer vetoes and the silly challenges that are designed to pander to sponsors take away much of the credibility. And shame on past contestant Lee Anne Wong if she is behind these gimmicky challenges. (cutting the time down last second, and next weeks apparent "go out and relax tonight.......PSYCH!!!, GET COOKING BYATCHES!!!" challenge)-COLLAPSE

  • In the first and second seasons it seemed that the quickfires were directly related to the elimination challenges; now it's not so obvious if they're related in the slightest. Anyways, I think Joey was very decent in this episode, although Bravo's decision to show his extremely emotional "confessional" I thought was in poor taste and quite a bit embarrassing. Glad to see Casey come out on top and...+READ
