What does this have to do with chow? If someone posted a report about speakers on chowhound, how long do you think it would stay there? If Bose paid for that and it's not displayed as an ad, that's very unethical and very disappointing.
I thought Chow.com was all about food... Ads like these are making it soft.
My parents bought one of these, much to my dismay. This dumb "speaker system" only works with iPods, unless many other units that have a 3.5mm jack to plug any player into it (or a nearby TV...). $300 for a very un-versatile set of speakers. They do sound decent though. There's better choices for the money.

And this has to do with food HOW, exactly?
My experience with Bose is that it's overpriced crap for people more concerned with expensive labels than quality product.
I think I'm beginning to resent these advertisements deceptively labeled as "stories".
