Gorgeous but inefficient and probably maddening design dreamt up by someone who doesn't use a corkscrew. The top of the screw--the part you'll have to grab and turn--looks to be about the size of a half dollar piece, maybe a silver dollar, and that isn't big enough.
Wine pourers confuse me. Isn't that what the bottle is designed to do? Why add an attachment? Perhaps it is for those who have had a few glasses, and can't pour without dribbling.
I don't consider them necessry, unless I was a wine tool designer looking to get an extra few bucks.
