“The less people know about how sausages and laws are made, the better they’ll sleep at night,” Otto von Bismarck famously said. While we can’t offer much reassurance about lawmaking, we can offer a rest-easy solution for the sausage: make it yourself with this easy-to-use grinder. (The grinder is equally great for making your own ground beef.)

I make a raw food diet for my dogs and need a grinder that is effective with chicken bones. Any suggestions would be hugely appreciated!
My mom had/has one of these, but rarely drags it out (I think she still has the original 50's box). She made a sandwich spread by feeding chunks of ring bologna and sweet pickles into the grinder, then mixing the result with mayo. LOVED it as a kid.
Are these dishwasher safe? I seem to remember that cleaning it was a beeyotch
As someone who DOESN'T have a Kitchenaid mixer, this is exactly what I'm looking for. If I can't justify the $250 for a mixer/sausage grinder combo, I certainly can't justify a $200 electric meat grinder.
I would think most people on this board have a KitchenAid stand mixer. They make a great grinder attachment for that AND it takes up less room.
