@blakemakes, I remember the wax soda bottles filled with liquid AND the wax lips! Loved them both.
My fav candy tho was caramel corn balls in the day...when neighbors weren't afraid to offer REAL homemade treats ...and of course I disagree with the apples comment because candied and caramel apples were GOLD when I was a kid.
This is awesome! I like the kid who thinks of cough drops as candy. You can just imagine his parents are the type that don't allow sugar at all in the house.
Do you guys remember those bottle cap candies? I would only get them at Halloween, but the only flavor I liked was the root beer. The sad thing was that each bottle cap packet contained a variety of flavors (red, yellow, purple). I would tear through the packets prowling for the brown, root beer flavored bottle caps. For the rest of the year, I go for all things chocolate. www.blakemakes.com
