Bag with Attitude

I know everyone is probably tired of the reusable shopping bag sermon, but when considering the environmental damage plastic bags wreak and the laws that are making them unwelcome, there is little excuse to not own and carry at least one reusable bag. And there’s a lot of variety to choose from. I am becoming a bit of a reusable-bag hoarder, with about seven canvas bags for heavy-duty grocery shopping and two nylon bags for abbreviated excursions. The newest addition to my collection is from cartoonist Lela Lee of Angry Little Girls! that really gets the message across.

  • i am not a prude just because i hate coarse, crass language. that's MY "attitude."

  • I agree with flourgirl, and I use a reusable bag. The "bag with attitude" is condescending. If you have to shove it down someone's throat, you're not doing it for the right reason.

  • Nope, I don't think this bag is funny AT ALL. And it has nothing to do with being a prude. By all means, be green, and feel as smug as you want to - but please keep the proselytizing to yourself (or the next time I see you in the store carrying that bag, I just may have to trip you.)-COLLAPSE

  • Prudes.

  • Now that's just what I want my 6 year old trying to read in the grocery store. I can see it now: "Shop with a reusable bag B-b Mommy how do you say that word??" as she ponders the word B*tch.

  • I actually love this bag, and products of this kind. Makes me laugh every time.

  • This is where my old-fashioned side comes out - I really dislike t-shirts, bags, etc. emblazoned with this kind of rude language, even when I support the sentiment. It makes me feel like a passing stranger just slapped me for no reason at all.
