Kettle and Frank Sitting in a Tree …

If you know me, you know that I can be a bit of a food snob—not that I’m eating at the French Laundry every night, but I’m definitely not eating at McDonald’s. I love a good burger, taco, or ice cream cone; I just like to know where the things I eat come from. My guilty pleasure, however, is a surprisingly dangerous combo: Sea Salt & Vinegar Kettle Chips dribbled with Frank’s RedHot. I know, I know—it sounds like something you’d find in a college dorm room. I’m not saying I’m proud of it … but I’m telling you to just try it. JUST TRY IT! You’ll be a believer.

  • One of my good friends and I used to toss sourdough pretzel nuggets in the Frank's buffalo style sauce and eat them with a spoon.

That being said...I still like Tabasco brand on my salt and vinegar chips.

  • Salt and Vinegar.........drool

My friend used to do the hot sauce and regular potato chips because she couldn't find flaming hot cheetos anywhere in NYC. I have to say, its a pretty good combo too

  • tried it loved it. put it out at a party ended up opening a fresh bottle of frank's since the first one got over so fast. thank you a very cool idea so what if it seems dormy.

  • Oh My. Yum Yum. I knew about the Salt and Vinegar chips with Franks (works great with french fries, vinegar and Franks too) but PommeDeGuerre's peach pie thing....Yum Yum Yum. Did I mention...YUM. Balsamic on peach pie...who knew?

  • I will definitely try this! I am a HUGE Frank's fan! I was embarrassed about it for years but now I am over it, Frank's makes a lot of things better. Friends and family made fun of me because I am known as such a food snob, but now they ALL have in it their house. What can I say. I love Frank's.
P.S. never try the lime flavor - really bad.

  • I thought I was the only "freak" that does this!!
I haven't tried it with salt and vinegar chips, but for years when I get the occasional craving for kettle chips, they must be accompanied with Frank's!

  • Not quite peach pie, drizzled with balsamic and accompanied by a little prosciutto, but I enjoyed it.
