Revisit the Wine Cooler

Our wine blogger, Daniel Duane, is an endless source of good tips. When shooting a video recently, he shared this great method for chilling wine. It’s an ice pack that you keep in the freezer and take out to put around your wine bottle as you’re preparing to serve the wine. It’s less clunky than an ice bucket, and it’s reusable. Dan told us that most people serve red wine too warm and white wine too cool—we look forward to testing his temperature theories out thoroughly.

  • We've had these for 16+ years. I put bottle in the jacket and in the freezer for 20 minutes - perfect. Larger ones are available for Champagne bottles.

  • These are really good to keep wine chilled -- a bit weak on the chilling side, at least for whites IMHO.
