In a recent query on Chowhound about which restaurant offers the best molecular gastronomy in San Francisco, the champion was clear: Atelier Crenn. SF isn't exactly a modernist cuisine capital, but Leely2 thinks Atelier Crenn's relaxing atmosphere balances the "sometimes crazy food," including seasonal tasting menus and fantastic desserts from pastry chef Juan Contreras.
