Overheard on the San Francisco Bay Area Board

"Been a couple of times since they opened. Not a lot of customers but a nice mix of people. The menu is small but the food was really solid and satisfying. I've heard some people complain about it being in the Bayview but in my opinion they are idiots. It's an easy location to get to either by car or the light rail or bike so that's no reason not to go." – tjinsf on Radio Africa & Kitchen's new location in San Francisco

"I am hooked on their Italian-style meatballs that are offered in a nice tomato sauce. They are tender and tasty and work nicely over the mashed potatoes available. There are also turkey meatballs available, but I have yet to try them." – DavidT on the Wildflower Café, a Financial District lunch spot

"Adam completely won us over with his brown butter infused whiskey with maple syrup, balsamic, and white verjus. He told us he literally browned a pound of butter to blend with a bottle of whiskey, froze it overnight and punched a hole in the butter to pour out the whiskey. The butter fragrance somehow worked very well with the smokey whiskey." – taarfirion on Healdsburg restaurant Cyrus's new bartender
