The National Football League is notorious for enforcing its trademark on the term Super Bowl, so everyone, including us, gets stuck calling it "The Big Game" when we promote anything related to it. This year, the verbal hamstringing inspired us. We've created six riffs on classic sports bar food using actual game meats like elk, venison, and duck. But don't be afraid to try out these dishes just because the meat seems exotic. Game meat is easier to find than you might think: You can order it online, or butchers and upscale grocers can special-order it for you. And these recipes, though a departure from the usual chicken, pork, and beef, are not remotely gamy in flavor.
Game meat is usually healthier for you as it does not have much fat and definitely free of inoculation chemicals and food additives. If you are a meat eater and need to keep on a diet then wild meat may be part of your answer.
Our family hunts wild game every year and elk is our favorite meat. Our elk has very little "wild taste" and is considered gourmet by the family.
Just go to Indy and get a steak where the Mannings do http://wp.me/p1xVI5-BA
What a clever and innovative use of game meat. it is one of the best things Chow has ever done. Outstanding.
YUCK!!! All of it sounds disguisting!
