"A friend from the Philippines brews Barako beans with Arabica beans to make her own blend. The Barako beans by themselves are mild and nutty. While beans are better to buy than ground coffee, I'd check the date of your source for freshness markers. Barako is so rare to find, having a local supplier is on the one hand lucky...on the other...would have me wondering how long it's been there. Good luck." - HillJ
