"I was thoroughly surprised, everything was tasty, fresh, and overall very good. The onion pancake came out hot, crispy, thin, and tasty. XLB came out steaming hot with a good amount of broth inside, and skin texture was just right." – badbatzmaru on Xiao Long Bao Kitchen in South San Francisco
"It is definitely the best corn I've tasted in California. I couldn't help but pick up twice as much as I needed after tasting it at the Vendor's Village. It is sweet, yet flavorful." – ...tm... on Firme Farms' corn
"When it came out (on a wooden plank, with a small side of mixed greens) it looked tasty, but perhaps a bit small. I was wrong. The crusty bread (I don't know if it was from their 'group' bakery, but it probably was) was really good, and you couldn't really tell how stuffed it was with meatballs until they started falling out. It was a really tasty sandwich—perhaps not a 'traditional meatball sandwich' in appearance and bread type, but better than any I can recall eating in years." – Imnopm on Paisan in Berkeley
