Intrepid hound hhc has a tip for those seeking lunch in the Outer Sunset: Outerlands café. The "tasty & filling" grilled cheese sandwich combo, which comes with either soup or salad, arrives with the same size soup you'd get if you ordered a $7 solo portion.

hhc tells us that in the $9 combo, the sandwich is "brushed w/garlic oil, seared on a cast iron skillet." And that soup's no Campbell's chicken noodle: When she visited, it was celery root and green garlic.
