Attention, microbrew-slash-sports-bar entrepreneurs: If you're seeking to expand, consider Jackson Heights, Queens. This thread, started by mshields, is a plaintive cry in the apparently sports-bar-free wilderness of that part of Queens. But mshields has standards, as does orzabelle, who requests “good drafts, good pub food, and a nice atmosphere.” Other Chowhounds elaborated: that also means at least one TV, but no loud music. We know a few places in other boroughs that fit that bill, so bar owners, maybe it's time to hop on that E, F, M, R, or 7 line.
