The Jazz apple is the newest apple passion of ipsedixit. “If you like the Fuji (and I’m a long time devotee), then the Jazz is sort of like falling in love,” says ipsedixit. This apple is “snappily crunchy,” sweet like nectar, and “aromatically succulent.”
The Honeycrisp apple has a light, airy, crisp flesh—“The Honeycrisp almost defies the laws of physics. I have no idea how their flesh could be so light, but also so uber crunchy and pack so much juice,” says gordeaux. But, if anything, a Jazz apple is denser and even firmer than a Honeycrisp. Jazz apples are very crisp, says Pat Hammond—jicama crisp!

All that jazz
Jazz apples are fine but I'm sorry there are no better apples than Honey Crisp. I'll eat Jazz as a second choice or after the Honey Crisps are gone but I can't see how anyone could like Jazz apples better.
Obviously the distribution system is very slow
