Don Alex bills itself as an anticucheria, and its anticuchos don't disappoint. This Peruvian grill turns out well-spiced, perfectly cooked chunks of beef heart on skewers, E Eto reports.
Beyond the grill, Don Alex's ceviche, papas a la huancaina (potatoes in nicely piquant cheese sauce), and lomo saltado, a stir-fry of unusually tender beef with potato, suggest that this restaurant ranks right up there with the best Peruvian places in town, including El Sol, El Anzuelo Fino, and the hound-endorsed Punto Fijo.
Don Alex is going skewer-to-skewer against Tambo's, a rival anticucheria across the street. The challenger's ceviche, lomo saltado, and papas a la huancaina are fine, but E Eto gives the first round to Don Alex on the strength of its superior beef heart.

Discuss: Don Alex and Tambo's, dueling anticucherias in Corona
If you are really looking forward to get a nice anticuchos you can give an extra chance to Tambo's, also if you want to try a nice grill steak I strongly suggest you the Parrillada Tambo's for two, it's a complete meal for 2 people, but if you want seafood, the best is the Ceviche Mixto or the Jalea if there are 2 people.
