"It's a simple minimalist counter with a few tables in the far rear, but their subs are superb; particularly the Italian sub," says Moose. "They bake their bread fresh on the hour, and are very generous with meat and fresh toppings."

And it's cheap: A foot-long sub, fully loaded, will cost you $6.50 and will feed two moderately hungry people.
