TasteSpotting is a site full of fabulous food porn, collating gorgeous photos from blogs and other Internet sources from all over the world. Several hounds use it as inspiration for their own cooking. Just click on a photo, and it will take you to the story where it was originally posted, explains farmersdaughter. It might include a recipe, or be a write-up of a restaurant meal or shopping trip.

I will only say that in the increasing use of the word "porn" to more generally mean "pictures of things you like to look at" I see an attempt to neutralize the real meaning of the word and make it seem less problematic. And why would one want to do that, unless they were looking at the real thing too much (or selling it) and wishing to defend its increasing ubiquity?

    Please, folks, stop using the word "porn" when you really mean to say "art" or "photography." (By the way all definitions I've found of the word "pornography" specify that the matter under discussion is specifically devoid of any redeeming artistic value.) Misuse of this word in this particular way only makes you look rather dumb and slightly defensive, and also suggests you may not be getting any.-COLLAPSE
