In their quest for the perfect gin and tonic, the British have gone one step further than anyone might have predicted: They have bent nature herself to their merciless will and wrested tiny, G&T-sized lemons from her grasp. The miniature lemons are grown in South Africa, and will be available for the perfectly agreeable price of £1 (about $1.65) per four-pack at British retailer Marks & Spencer.

Lemons? Isn’t lime the canonical fruit for a G&T? And limes are already the right size, so no need to go bending nature.
Lime for V&T; lemon for G&T.
I’ve always heard Lime for G&T and lemon for V&T. But to each his own.
twice the price for half the size…what a deal!
Lime is to gin & tonic as lemon is to vodka & tonic. If you get this wrong you fail the SAT.
What’s wrong with a slice of regular lemon? And I don’t like lime in my G&T, canonical or not. G&T and lemon, V&T and a drain (don’t like V&T, it isn’t herbal enough).
Anything for a British Pound!
