Diet Coke hoisin sauce is the key to “Dao Mi Noh Chow Mein,” a reimagined Asian twist on a Domino’s pizza from the Fancy Fast Food blog. With little explanation or justification, FFF reworks low-brow fast-food edibles into medium-brow restaurant fare, complete with recipes and photos. Check out Tapas de Castillo Blanco (White Castle) and the sushi version of Popeyes chicken to experience the flavor of the site.

Fascinating. I can’t say I’d want to EAT the results, but I would enjoy messing around with this in a science class sorta way. Reminds me of those books about how to fancy up box cake.

Oh my GOODNESS. No, I have no idea why that posted three times – maybe a server interruption? Mods, please feel free to deep-six the extras. Or all of them. Beg pardon!

Seriously, whoever created this blog needs a major creativity award. Check out the site, it is amazing how they can turn fried chicken into sushi. Now I would never actually eat any of this, but it is a fun read!
We were completely taken aback by the way they *executed* this concept. Methinks they’re food stylists gone wild!
I really enjoyed the photography, but I must say seeing some of the individual blobs of food helps me not miss going to those places at all.
Will certainly be keeping an eye on that site.
