Señor El Bulli could not find any really great beers to drink with his food apparently, so with Barcelona brewer Estrella Damm he created Inedit, a “beer specifically created for food pairings.” The BeerAdvocate community says: “Average at best. Hardly drinkable as well. Too watery. Avoid.”











Do you think that it was a typo- meant to name it Inedible?
I actually tried this last week and found it to be pretty decent. Certainly the best Spanish beer I tried in a week. (And I had about 15 different ones, only other decent one was Alhambra Dark.)
Is it amazing? No. Is it drinkable? Absolutely. It has enough nuances that I imagine it would pair very well with certain foods.
wish i’d read this before i spent 14.99 on it. but, now that i’m drinking it? not horrible. crisp. clean. yeasty. but i wouldnt’ spend that much on it again.
