In keeping with my recent theme of film-based CHOW Picks from the past, here is a clip by comedians Mike Nichols and Elaine May set on the showroom floor of General Electric refrigerators. This parody of old-fashioned appliance commercials should give you a taste of Nichols and May’s brilliance, and their ability to create riveting characters in almost any scenario.
