Mold-y Food

You know when you’ve frozen some soup or stew and want to eat it but forgot to thaw it in the refrigerator first? So you run water over the outside and plop out something that looks less like food and more like a brick? You know what I mean? Photographer Zach Kowalczyk does. He took this beautiful series of photos of food that has taken the shape of its container (via Swissmiss). These would make excellent desktop wallpaper.

  1. Heh, the Spam reminds me of a woman I heard on the radio when the nostalgia for it first revved up, she said when you slide it out of the can, it’s “like the SPAM is being born!”
    Have to admit, I can see why.
