After hearing me curse at my junky old garlic press, my boyfriend gifted me with the Zyliss Susi DeLuxe Garlic Press. I initially dismissed the plastic cleaning tool that came with it as gimmicky, but my inner skeptic was silenced after my first squishing. The tool fits into the press to push all the garlic bits out, and the press’s nonstick coating makes cleaning a simple rinse job.

I’m not sure how this is any kind of great find. CI has been touting this one for years.
I’ve had one of these for a long time, at least a few years. It’s a solid tool, the plastic cleaner works well, and it hasn’t changed any funky colors (which my previous one started to do). I’d recommend it over others.
Yeah, this is a great garlic press, but it is hardly new or widely unknown.
Well… not that it really matters but the title of the column is “stuff we like” not “stuff no one has heard”
I like the Zyliss, but I think the Pampered Chef garlic press is even better.
