Wine Coolers, 2007-Style

These small self-contained bottles of infused sake are quite tasty, though a bit sweet. We wouldn’t choose one over a cocktail, but we would serve them at home alongside Asian fare—especially the yummy Yuzu Citrus flavor. We’ve long wondered why there weren’t sake drinks like this widely available in grocery stores before, but it sounds like saké2me is going to try to change that. For anyone curious about what sort of punch these pack: 7 percent alcohol.

  1. Mmm! Can’t wait to try these at my next barbecue!

  2. Nope. Sake + sparkling water + your own fresh citrus to make a spritzer w/o the chemicals.

  3. I saw this at BevMo last week

  4. Yes, this is the stuff. My roommate is absolutely crazy for them. I usually don’t trust her judgement, in fact I never do, so I will just have to try them myself. Thanks for the pick.

  5. Where can you buy these from? Cost Plus, Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s or any other national trendy, international food chain?

  6. These are yummy. And clean, which is how I drank a whole four pack of the Yuzu Citrus one night. I got mine at BevMo. Don’t know if they are in TJ’s, but should be.
