Italian researchers are perfecting a diet pill that, in your stomach, swells up and “turns into a clear, gelatinous blob the size of a tennis ball.”
Wired is reporting that the pill is made from a cellulose compound of hydrogel that can soak up 1,000 times its weight.
That sounds suspiciously like another kind of gel that already is in use.
